What an exciting time to be a fan or member of the NEPA Miners as we have never been busier. New ownership and a new board of directors are taking Minor League football in Pennsylvania to new heights! With that being said we have so much news to share. The Mall at Steamtown will be the host of a NEPA Miners Press Conference on President’s Day, Monday, February 15^th 12pm, first floor Center Court to introduce the teams New Head Coach, 2010 Stadium Venue, new League and so much more! (All members and fans are welcome to attend) We will follow that up with our 2^nd Miners Girls Entertainment Team Tryout Sunday February 21st from 11am-1pm at a location to be announced this week. After the tryout the entire organization will have a mandatory team meeting at the Scranton Hilton from 3-5pm for returning players, cheerleaders, coaches and management. New and interested players should attend. We will review our 2010 changes, introduce new members, review new policies & procedures and our offseason schedule. Finally, the FCA/NEPA Miners Gala Event, Silent Auction and Awards Banquet will be held Saturday, February 27^th 6pm at the Regal Room in Olyphant. Former NY Giant Keith Elias will be our guest speaker. Tickets are now available for sale online.
